Hazard Awareness – Level 1

National Standards in Health & Safety have been set and cannot be ignored.

It is essential, therefore, that staff at all levels have a full understanding of the hazards in their particular place of work and the dangers involved in ignoring them.

Specially designed for students in work experience, or young people about to begin employment, this online course will give them a sound understanding of the health & safety issues they will face in work, and also what they can do to maintain a healthy, safe workplace.

The course takes approximately 2 hours to complete and progress can be saved, enabling you to return to it later and start where you left off.

After successfully completing the assessment at the end, you are able to download a full set of course notes. These can be saved to your computer or printed out. They contain the key points from the course content and are useful as a quick reference guide.

On successful completion of the final assessment students print their certificate (fully recognised by Environmental Health Officers) directly from the computer.
