VDU & Workstation

The law for working with VDUs is covered by the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992.

Employers must minimise risks from working with VDUs which means they must ensure that employees have good training, work in a well designed workplace and have well planned job tasks.

This online course is mapped to the above Regulations and is designed for people who regularly work with Display Screen Equipment or VDUs.

It is broken down into an introduction, four modules and a workstation self-assessment. The self-assessment produces a report which the employer, or occupational therapist, can use to identify problems with staff workstations or VDUs.

The course takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and progress can be saved, enabling you to return to it later and start where you left off.
