Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

This online, audio visual course looks at the issues relating to vulnerable adults, including notable drivers that have helped shape the UK’s approach towards the protection of vulnerable adults.

It is aimed at anyone who comes into contact with vulnerable adults during the course of their work and raises awareness of the legislation that applies to vulnerable groups and how these policies can be applied in practice.

The course covers issues such as type of abuse that can occur and how to spot them, developing a safeguarding culture and creating a safe environment along with whistle blowing and codes of practice.

It also includes scenarios to help you to think about what you would do in a given situation.

The content has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines

On successful completion candidates can print their certificate directly from the computer.
