Fire Safety
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies strict regulations to business, community and industrial premises in the UK.
Business owners and guardians of buildings are directly reponsible for complying with these regulations, including the training of staff in fire safety awareness.
Failure to comply may result in HSE involvement or prosecution.
This online fire safety course is ideal for care homes, hotels or business, and can be used as part of induction training for new starters or as a refresher to reinforce employer and employee responsibilities.
It takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and progress can be saved, enabling you to return to it later and start where you left off.
After successfully completing the assessment at the end, you are able to download a full set of course notes. These can be saved to your computer or printed out. They contain the key points from the course content and are useful as a quick reference guide.
Successful candidates print their Fire Safety certificate directly from the computer. This certificate provides evidence that the required standard of knowledge of fire safety awareness has been attained.

Fire extinguishers and how to use them - classes of fire - fire resisting construction - case studies and law
Module 3 – Night Staff/ Night Porter:
Final check of premises and walk rounds - action in the event of fire and alarm
Module 4 – Fire marshal:
Duties - action in event of a fire
